GS1 is a global, neutral standards organisation with national member organisations in over 115 countries - including GS1 Norway. The organisation is best known for barcodes (EAN-13) and GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) used in retail. In the energy sector, the GS1 standard forms the basis for GSRNGlobal Service Relation Number - the unique 18-digit identifier for each metering point in Elhub, based on the GS1 standard.
