Tvimenning is shortly to be formally approved by ElhubNational hub for metering data and market processes in the Norwegian electricity market. in five of nine market roles - Metered Data Collector (DDE), Third Party (AG), Grid Access Provider (DDM), Supplier of Last Resort (SLR) and Metered Data Responsible (MDR). What does Elhub approval mean?
Elhub is the Norwegian data hub that manages all metering and customer information in the power market. To act as a participant in the market - either as a collector of meter data or as a third party with access to consumption dataData from electricity meters - the foundation for billing, balance settlement and market processes in the power market. - formal approval from StatnettNorway's system operator for the transmission grid - owns and operates the high-voltage network and operates Elhub. SF is required.
The certification means that Tvimenning has completed and passed certification tests for all relevant message types and processes, and that our systems are in full conformance with the BRS specifications that Elhub requires.
For our customers, this means one thing: you integrate through SAMTYGD, our integration layer, which is already tested, approved and in production - not a system that is still under approval.

Approval is granted per role, and each role has its own set of processes. Below is what each of them gives you.
Metered data collector
DDE - Metered data collectorAs an approved Metered Data Collector, Tvimenning can collect, validate and report meter values to Elhub on behalf of grid companies and metering companies. The role covers the full spectrum of metering point types and ensures correct delivery to the market.

Grid access provider
DDM - Grid access providerAs an approved Grid Access Provider, Tvimenning can send the grid company's market messages to Elhub: create, activate and close metering points, handle move-in and move-out, and keep master data current. It is the role with the most processes, and it is carried by SPIRA, SEFTA and GJELDE.
- Create, activate, deactivate and remove metering points, with rollback

- Receive supplier switches, end of supply and meter values from Elhub

Supplier of last resort
SLR - Supplier of last resortWhen an end user has no supplier, the grid company is obliged to supply. SLR is the role the grid company uses for those customers in Elhub, and as an approved Supplier of Last Resort, Tvimenning can handle their start of supply, master data and basis for settlement. The role is carried by GJELDE.

Metered data responsible
MDR - Metered data responsibleAs an approved Metered Data Responsible, Tvimenning can take the grid company's responsibility for meter values being established and validated: receive meter readings from the supplier, follow up Elhub's reminders when values are missing, and request meter values when needed. The role has few processes, but this is where the reminders arrive. It is carried by GJELDE.

System approval is taken on SAMTYGD as the integration layer; the system column shows the product doing the work behind the role.
