Our products
Purpose-built products that solve the toughest energy data challenges. Each product is built and documented, deeply integrated, and backed by expert guidance.
Each product stands on its own and talks to the others when you want it to.
How we buildThe threshold that matters is what you can do with a product: see it at our end, try it in your own test environment, or put it into operation. What the labels meanWe show every product with where it stands, not only the finished ones.
The threshold that matters is what you can do with a product: see it at our end, try it in your own test environment, or put it into operation. We build in two steps - first a prototype in an environment where a change costs minutes, then a translation into the platform with the same behaviour and new code. In both places it is tried against STUBB, a simulation of Elhub and the other interfaces, so the translation can be measured: does the new one behave like the old one. Only after that move can a customer run their own test. That is why we show every product with where it stands, not only the finished ones.

Core data
Registers and data quality - the foundation everything else rests on.

Master data register
SPIRA
Ready for the platformErrors in the metering pointThe fundamental unit in Elhub - the unique point in the electricity network where energy is measured and settled, identified by an 18-digit GSRN number. and installation register are one of the most common - and least visible - causes of billing errors. When addresses, metering point IDs or componentA replaceable part inside a fixed asset. It has its own age, its own history and its own service life - independent of the asset it sits in. data disagree across systems, the fault only surfaces far downstream, often as a customer complaint about an incorrect invoice. SPIRAOne consolidated register for metering points, installations and assets - the source of truth the rest of the chain builds on. tackles it at the root: one consolidated register for metering points, installations and assetsPhysical equipment owned and used over time - transformer, cable, breaker. It has both a technical and an accounting side, and the two rarely agree. that HESHead-End System - central system for collecting and managing data from smart meters in AMI networks., MDMMeter Data Management - system for collection, storage, quality assurance and distribution of metering data from the electricity grid. and settlementTurning metering data into money. Consumption and production per metering point become what each party owes or is owed. can rely on.

Meter data engine
SEFTA
Ready for the platformMetering data from tens of thousands of meters is never perfect. Meters lose connection, clocks drift, and quality codes are interpreted differently from system to system. Even so, metering values for the previous day must reach ElhubNational hub for metering data and market processes in the Norwegian electricity market. by 07:00, quality-assured for settlement by 10:00. Corrections can follow until settlement locks, but the delivery deadline is daily. SEFTAValidation, estimation, and editing with versioned time series, traceability, and export-ready data. is the VEEValidation, Estimation, Editing - systematic process to ensure quality of raw metering data from electricity meters. engine that closes that gap: eight validationThe first step in VEE - automated checks of metering data against technical and logical limits to detect obviously erroneous values. rules catch everything from physically impossible values to clock drift and stuck meters, and a six-step estimationThe second step in VEE - calculation of missing or rejected metering values based on historical patterns, neighbouring meters or statistical models. cascade fills the holes. The name is a North Norwegian dialect word for mending nets - sewing together what has holes in it.

Component register
RUNA
Ready for the platformMost grid companies keep their component data spread across spreadsheets, GISGeographic Information System - system for collecting, storing and analyzing location-based data - used in network mapping and planning. and people's heads. RUNAOne register for the physical components - the whole lifetime, with traceable history and standardised designation. gathers it in one place, across the whole lifetime from goods receipt to retirement. Each component gets a functional designation per the RDSReference designation system per ISO/IEC 81346. Gives every component in a facility one unambiguous designation that holds for its whole life. standard (ISO/IEC 81346The standard giving every part of a plant an unambiguous designation by function, location and product. The basis RDS builds on.) and an identifier that follows it across systems - so the register can answer where a component is now, where it was before, and when it moved. That history is what makes auditing and condition assessment possible after the fact.

Maintenance planning
FRAMSYN
Demo at our endAge-based maintenance wastes in two directions at once: components are scrapped while still working well, and others fail unexpectedly because the fixed cycle never caught the real deterioration. FRAMSYNMaintenance orders based on actual condition, not age - combining data from SEFTA, SPIRA and RUNA. replaces the calendar with data on how the component is actually doing - metering data from SEFTATvimenning’s VEE engine: validates, estimates and edits metering series with versioned time series and a full audit trail, before data goes to Elhub. shows what it has been subjected to, while SPIRATvimenning's metering point and asset register - your single source of truth for master data, with a built-in validation engine and Elhub integration. and RUNATvimenning's component register for electrical installations - providing structure and traceability for the components installations are built from. hold year of manufacture, installation date and service history. It is the combination that lets the system speak to condition rather than age. FRAMSYNTvimenning’s tool for condition-based maintenance: raises work orders from how the component is actually doing, not from how old it is. does not, however, assume you use our registers: it can be connected to the systems you already have, through an adapter. The difference is how much works from day one - with SEFTA, SPIRA and RUNA the support is complete out of the box, while a third-party system requires its own configuration and integration, and gives a more limited first level.

Settlement engine
GJELDE
Demo at our endGJELDEFrom metering value to finished invoice and payment - on a basis that can be audited the whole way. is the place where a settlement comes together. Metering values, tariffs, agreements and calculation rules meet in one place, and the result is what each party is owed. The name carries both halves of the job: what applies - the rules and the basis - and what is owed, the debt itself. A settlement is not right until both are. The point is not to calculate fastest, but to be able to show how the number was arrived at. An amount without a traceable basis is a claim, not a settlement, and that is precisely where disagreements between parties begin. GJELDE therefore keeps the basis: which metering values were used, which tariffThe component of electricity customers' bills that covers grid rental - regulated by NVE. applied when, which agreement was in force, and which rule was applied. And it does not stop at the basis: the invoice is produced and sent, gentle reminders are handled inside the system, and debt collection runs through an integration with whoever the customer already uses. If something changes afterwards, it must be possible to see what changed and why. GJELDE draws metering data from SEFTA and metering point and installation data from SPIRA where they exist, but presupposes neither: if the basis lives in the customer's own systems, they are connected through an integration.

Integration
Message exchange and testing against the market and external systems.

Integration layer
SAMTYGD
In productionA shared integration layer between the modules, the surrounding systems and market hubs such as Elhub. One place for messages, metering data and formats.

Test platform
STUBB
Ready for the platformTvimenning's product line for mock services. Each Stubb simulates an external system with realistic behaviour, correct protocols, and real data formats.

EDI server
HANDSAL
Demo at our endPower suppliers, grid companies and balance responsible parties exchange structured messages directly between themselves every day - invoices, delivery plans, product data - without going through a central market hub. That bilateralMessages travel directly between two parties, without passing through a shared hub. The opposite of the centralised model Elhub is built on. Also called point-to-point. traffic is usually handled either by an expensive, closed message broker, or by home-built solutions with no monitoring, quarantine or alerting when something fails to arrive. HANDSALEDI server that receives, translates, routes and confirms messages between companies and marketplaces. is a self-hosted EDIFACTElectronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce and Transport - UN standard for electronic data exchange. gateway that gives this a dependable foundation - without the traffic having to pass through a third party.

Security and compliance
Energy is critical infrastructure. We build compliance and control into the foundation - here is what we can confirm today.
Tvimenning is formally Elhub-approved in the market roles Metered Data Collector (DDE) and Third Party (AG). The register SPIRA and the integration layer SAMTYGD are built and tested against Elhub's message standards.
Customer data is processed under GDPR, with a clear data processing agreement and access control on customer instances. See the privacy policy.
Operational data is stored in EU/EEA regions with established cloud providers. No transfers to third countries without an agreed legal basis.
Agreed notification procedures for security incidents and data quality deviations, with reporting and root cause analysis.
Frequently asked questions
Elhub has nine market roles - AG, BSL, DDE, DDK, DDM, DDQ, MDR, QRY and SLR. SAMTYGD covers all nine. Tvimenning holds system approval in five of them - DDE, AG, DDM, SLR and MDR - where all 71 message types are covered and tested. The remaining roles go through system approval as they are required. Approval has two steps: we take the system approval, you take the actor approval on the combination of system and integration - and we take you through it.
