In practiceThe strawberry philosophy is the most useful part for a company in our position, and also the most uncomfortable.
We are a new company with experienced people. We have no reference customers to show yet, and the examples on our pages are exactly that, examples. Those are the berries we have.
The temptation is to describe them as something larger. The alternative, which is what we have chosen, is to say precisely what exists: every product carries a maturity label, from in production to in design, and one of them says outright that it is not yet packaged as a service. It is a shorter list than a competitor can show, and it is a list that holds when somebody checks.
The rename from Nordic Choice to Strawberry is the other half. A name that could have belonged to anyone was replaced by one that could only have belonged to them. It is the same decision we made when our products got Old Norse names instead of descriptive abbreviations, and when the company was named after a way of working rather than after what we sell.
Identity is not something added once the product is finished. It is the starting point, and for us that means the logo, the names and the house rules.
