Definition
A Large Language Model (LLM) is a type of neural network with billions of parameters trained on large text corpora. LLMs can generate text, answer questions, write code and summarise documents. Examples include GPT-4 (OpenAI), GeminiGoogle's family of large language models (LLM) - integrated in Google Cloud and Workspace for AI-assisted work processes. (Google) and Claude (Anthropic). In the energy sector, LLMs are used for contract analysis, customer service automation and coding assistance for developers.
