Low-code is an approach to software development in which visual design tools, drag-and-drop interfaces and pre-built modules replace manual coding for large parts of an application. Platforms such as Microsoft Power AppsMicrosoft's low-code platform for building custom business applications without traditional software development., Mendix and OutSystems are examples. Low-code can accelerate the development of standard applications, but has limitations when dealing with complex domain-specific logic.
