District heating
District heating relieves the electricity grid by taking heating off it, and on the coldest winter days it is what keeps the peak load away. No two plants are alike - waste, wood chips, seawater or waste heat from industry - and all are electricity consumers with facilities of their own. Those that produce power or run their own grid report to Elhub as well.
Start with the metering data. SEFTA validates and estimates heat meter data automatically, and we build the picture of the rest of the network from there.
